Technical Project Manager - Infrastructure Support

**Please note this role falls INSIDE IR35**

**This role requires minimum of 2-3 Days onsite in Cambridge weekly**

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong focus on Infrastructure Support, particularly with Oracle systems. This is a 6 month contract, with possible extensions. The role is hybrid with some travel to Cambridge area.

This role requires a highly skilled and self-motivated individual who can hit the ground running and manage complex technical infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and the ability to manage project delivery from start to finish while ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Coordination: Lead and manage infrastructure support projects, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of technical solutions, specifically focusing on Oracle systems.
• Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Technical Expertise in Oracle: Leverage your deep knowledge of Oracle infrastructure to ensure technical aspects of the project are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Planning and Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful project delivery on time and within scope.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project delivery. Keep stakeholders informed of risks and mitigation strategies.
• Reporting and Documentation: Create and maintain key project documentation, including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), risk registers, and issue logs to ensure the project stays on track and aligned with organisational objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead project teams, managing day-to-day activities, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that resources are optimised for maximum efficiency.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve technical and project-related issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in managing infrastructure support projects, with a specific focus on Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle databases, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Immediate Availability: Ability to hit the ground running and begin project coordination immediately with minimal onboarding.
• Experience with PIDs and Risk Management: Proficiency in creating Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) and managing risk registers and issue logs.
• Proven Project Delivery: A proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule, ensuring key deliverables are met and stakeholders are satisfied.
• Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership for project outcomes.
• Leadership and Conflict Management: Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage teams and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
