Technical Project Manager - Bank - City of London

As the Technical Project Manager, you play an integral role in a high-performing team to deliver technical projects on time, within budget, and that meet project objectives while increasing internal customer satisfaction.

This is a hybrid role requiring technical expertise in software development or IT infrastructure projects. You may also assist in business requirement scoping and technical delivery to ensure project completion. You will leverage your project management skills and communication abilities to lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, directly influencing the success of IT projects and the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high performance levels for service-related processes and implement improvements as needed
• Own critical risks and issues, coordinate resolutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Develop a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into service delivery scope
• Manage metrics reporting and analyze business demand against capacity constraints
• Manage the development and delivery of IT products using Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Focus on continuous improvement of quality and speed, fostering team learning each sprint
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and Security teams to ensure compliance and meet requirements
• Provide communication and escalation to IT and business management on critical issues
• Maintain good relationships with business representatives to stay aligned on project directions and future requests
