Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking a technically minded Project Manager to drive engineering projects in a fast-moving, engineering-led environment. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electronics and embedded software to move unmanned vehicle programmes from development to delivery.

This onsite, defence tech role requires hands-on problem solving, strong stakeholder management and an adaptable approach as projects scale. Prior experience in defence/automation sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical/engineering projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Understanding of mechanical, electronics and/or embedded software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from planning through to delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electronics and embedded software.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, risks and deliverables.
• Work closely with engineering leads and stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects moving.
• Track project progress and communicate updates across the business.
• Help introduce and improve project processes as the company scales.
• Coordinate suppliers, stakeholders and external partners where required.
• Support the delivery of complex autonomous and unmanned vehicle programmes.
