Job summary

adMarketplace is hiring a Technical Project Manager to drive complex, multi-team initiatives from planning through delivery. You will own the integration plans for advertiser partnerships, coordinate across Partnerships, Product, and Engineering, and ensure milestones are met with clear accountability.

The role demands hands-on technical depth (APIs, data feeds, attribution infrastructure) and experience translating ambiguous business asks into structured workstreams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with retail media ecosystems and advertiser measurement workflows — attribution modeling, ROAS optimization, smart bidding, and data pipeline infrastructure.
  • SQL proficiency required, or demonstrated ability to work with data/analytics teams to validate and interpret technical data.
  • Hands-on experience with oRTB, APIs (REST/JSON), product feed management, event tracking, and attribution infrastructure.
  • Experience operating within a RACI-structured, cross-functional environment with shifting stakeholders.
  • Genuine comfort with ambiguity — building processes from scratch and holding the team to them.
  • Proven track record driving complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects from ambiguous ask to shipped outcomes.
  • Structured project management: scoping, sequencing, risk tracking, status reporting.
  • Client-facing technical discovery and translating business requirements into engineering-ready inputs.
  • Comfort with requirement gathering, live troubleshooting, and presenting to mixed audiences.
  • 5+ years in technical program/project management in ad tech or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients and document prioritized work.
  • Build and own integration plan for client-specific solution architectures and milestones.
  • Own client-specific POC planning and execution across AMP and partner teams.
  • Drive Build vs Configure decisions and escalate when needed.
  • Monitor data accuracy and reconciliation across internal and partner data sets.
  • Own onboarding plan for new demand integrations: feed setup and API integration.
  • Be the primary voice for project status in client-facing meetings.
  • Translate client requirements into engineering-ready, sequenced inputs.
  • Represent progress and risk in internal reviews and go-to-market readiness.

Job description

  • As a Technical Project Manager at adMarketplace, you’ll be the driving force that turns complex, multi-team technical initiatives into shipped outcomes — owning the plan, the timeline, and the follow-through for our key strategic advertiser partnerships integrations end-to-end. This is a founding, builder function: you’ll translate ambiguous technical and business asks into structured workstreams, keep Partnerships, Product, and Engineering aligned and moving, and make sure nothing that matters falls through the cracks
  • You’ll need real technical depth to do this well — this is not a purely administrative coordination role. You should be comfortable getting hands-on with APIs, data feeds, and attribution infrastructure so you can plan the work credibly, spot risk early, and push back when a timeline or scope doesn’t hold up
  • Technical Discovery & Planning
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients; document, prioritize, and sequence based on business impact (ROI)
  • Build and own the integration plan for client‑specific solution architectures — scoping, sequencing, and tracking delivery against milestones, and adapting the plan as partner requirements evolve without losing continuity on existing commitments
  • Own client‑specific POC planning and execution specifically for joint technical projects spanning AMP and partner engineering/product teams — coordinating across technical and business stakeholders to keep scope and timeline on track
  • Drive Build vs. Configure decisions to resolution; make recommendations and elevate where required
  • Track data accuracy and reconciliation workstreams between internal and partner‑reported data sets, making credible interim calls where full visibility isn’t available and revisiting them as better data arrives — ensuring open items are owned and closed out
  • Partner Integration & Delivery
  • Own the project plan for technical onboarding of new demand integrations — feed setup, attribution API integration, bid automation configuration, and credential provisioning — sequencing dependencies and unblocking stalled work
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for keeping client‑side technical issues moving to resolution
  • Produce and maintain the actual content within that system for each partner — specs, project plans, status trackers, and open‑question logs — ensuring every initiative has an accurate, current record owners can reference directly
  • Monitor partner technical channels and route escalations internally with appropriate urgency, tracking through to closure
  • Support integration of oRTB‑based third‑party demand partners and new vertical feed categories, including ticketing and travel
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Partner with the Account team, Product, Engineering, and Supply‑side Solutions Engineer to drive integrated solutions — running the cadence that keeps everyone aligned
  • Coordinate publisher feasibility assessments with Supply Solutions Engineer
  • Build and run the recurring reporting rhythm and governance structure for key strategic advertiser partnerships’ technical initiatives as a founding function — a single tracking system covering initiative status, ownership, dependencies, and open items, kept current through a regular cadence rather than reconstructed ad‑hoc for each meeting or report
  • Serve as the primary voice of project status in client‑facing meetings alongside the Account team
  • Translate client‑specific technical requirements into actionable, sequenced inputs for engineering and product
  • Represent progress and risk in internal reviews, launch planning, and go‑to‑market readiness
  • Support billing methodology discussions by tracking and translating technical attribution data into commercial inputs for Partnerships and Finance Qualifications
