Job description

CNX is recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for a large principal contractor based in Central Scotland. The role involves overseeing internal and external works from inception to completion.

You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. The post holder will also manage and lead other members of the construction and design team.

DUTIES:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to members of the project team.
  • Hold informal 1-to-1 meetings with team members as required.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).
  • Plan, implement, and monitor site logistics.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous project management experience in the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Certified in SMSTS via CITB.
  • Good knowledge of current construction techniques, building standards, and regulations.
  • High standards of health and safety compliance.
  • Programme management skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.

This role offers a salary range depending on location and experience, between £50k - £58k, plus a car allowance, impressive pension contributions, and many other benefits.
