5 Month Temporary Role | Central London Based

ABOUT THE ROLE

A global media and technology organisation is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Manager to join its Technology Engagement team. This team plays a vital role in enhancing employee engagement and enabling effective communication across the entire Technology department and its leadership.

This interim leadership role focuses on operational enablement during a period of transition. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers and strong executors who excel in transforming complex or technical concepts into accessible, engaging content. A passion for writing and internal communication is key to success in this position.

Note: This is an internal-facing role. It does not involve external communications or public relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Messaging Development & Execution

    Develop and manage internal content such as newsletters, town halls, leadership updates, and employee-facing collateral.
  • Leadership Support

    Act as a trusted advisor and delivery partner for Technology leadership on internal messaging and engagement strategies.
  • Engagement Programs

    Collaborate with cross-functional partners to lead and support programs that promote culture, recognition, and inclusion.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership

    Build and maintain strong relationships with team leads, People teams, and business enablement functions to support key strategic objectives through effective communication and change management materials.
  • Team Enablement

    Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support goal alignment and execution. Monitor and report on program metrics to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field, preferably within a technology, media, or global enterprise environment.
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to execute effectively across competing priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor teams, particularly in transitional or fast-paced environments.
  • Adept at building trust and forming strong relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones.
