Job description

We are partnering with a leading technology-driven organisation to hire a Technical Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who has transitioned from a software engineering or infrastructure engineering background into project management and enjoys delivering complex technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technology projects across software development, infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering teams.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
• Drive project governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring delivery quality and operational stability.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience, including several years in a Technical Project Manager (TPM) or equivalent project delivery role.
• Prior hands-on experience in Software Development, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, infrastructure environments, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end technology projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience gained within Financial Services, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, FinTech, or large-scale Big Tech organisations is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise application environments.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, highly technical environments.
