Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a 3-month hybrid role. Derby involvement a few times per month; day rate £550–£650 Inside IR35.

The role focuses on delivering engineering and digital transformation projects with emphasis on Siemens Teamcenter in a complex environment. You will manage plans, budgets and stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Technical Project Manager.
• Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter (essential).
• Experience delivering engineering systems, PLM or enterprise software projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, risks and delivery plans.
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of technical projects from initiation through to completion.
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and status updates with stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and change requests.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained and governance requirements are met.
• Support the implementation, integration and enhancement of Siemens Teamcenter solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice across project delivery activities.

Job description

Role: Technical Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (Derby few times a month as necessary)

Duration: 3 Months

Day rate: £550 - £650 per day Inside IR35

Clearance Requirements

• Must be eligible for BPSS clearance.
• Must be a British national due to customer and project requirements.
• No SC clearance is required for this role.

Secondary Skills

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions
• Knowledge of Siemens NX or other CAD/engineering applications
• Experience within Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing or Engineering sectors
• Familiarity with systems integration, data migration or digital transformation projects
• PRINCE2, PMP or Agile project management certification
• Experience working within highly regulated environments such as Defence or Aerospace
