About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Technical Project Manager for our Civil Construction Field Solutions division in Christchurch, New Zealand. The role involves managing engineering projects during productization (NPI) and research phases (NTI), collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams (HW, SW, FW, ME), and guiding projects from idea to first customer shipment. Candidates should be process-oriented, influential, and have an agile mindset.

What You Will Do
  • Facilitate internal processes for NPI and NTI projects.
  • Act as SCRUM Master for Agile teams, fostering trust and accountability.
  • Lead project gate review meetings.
  • Provide project updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and resource estimates.
  • Build strong relationships with team members.
  • Use influence and teamwork to achieve objectives.
What Skills & Experience You Should Have
  • 5+ years in engineering teams developing embedded systems with GNSS, IMUs, Lasers, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, SmartSheet, Jira.
  • Experience using influence and teamwork to drive results.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.
  • Effective prioritization across multiple projects.

  • Projects delivered on time and within budget.
  • Increase in engineering project velocity.
  • Becoming the go-to resource for project status.
  • Fostering a culture that embraces processes.
