Job summary

Proactive Appointments is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for a contract role in London. The position is Outside IR35 and hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in Central London.

You will lead technical projects involving networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, and structured cabling, with a focus on delivering on-time, within-budget results. The role requires NPPV3 clearance and experience managing field engineering teams, with strong stakeholder engagement and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold NPPV3 clearance.
• Experience delivering networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, and structured cabling projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, security technologies, wireless deployments, CCTV systems, structured cabling standards, and fibre optics.
• Experience managing field engineering and installation teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis, initially until the end of the year with a view to extend.

Please note, you must hold NPPV3 Clearance. The role is OUTSIDE IR35 and is hybrid, with 3 days per week in Central London.
