Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of software projects for a technology-focused organisation based in Bath, operating within an agile, collaborative environment.

You will oversee day-to-day project execution with cross-functional teams, ensure successful sprint delivery, coordinate user acceptance testing, manage defects, and contribute to timely software releases while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across UK locations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software projects as Technical Project Manager.
• Experience managing software development projects or programmes.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience using delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, across technical and business teams.

A Technical Project Manager is required to work for a well-established, technology-led professional services organisation based in Bath. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering software projects within a collaborative and Agile environment, supporting a large internal user base across multiple UK locations.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of software projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful sprint execution, monitor delivery progress, and keep projects on track. You’ll also support quality assurance activities, including coordinating UAT, managing defect resolution, and contributing to successful software releases.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering software projects.
• Strong background managing software development projects or programmes.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience using delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
