Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of core and backhaul elements across Project Gigabit lots.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of core/backhaul activities across all four Project Gigabit lots.
  2. Manage third-party vendors providing lit, dark fibre, and self-built spans.
  3. Coordinate with access network resources for seamless integration and delivery.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely project completion.
  5. Provide regular updates to the BDUK Programme Manager and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
  6. Maintain effective communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
