Job description

Role Title: Technical Project Manager/Director

Duration: Contract until 28/11/2025

Location: Birmingham, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Rate: Up to £515.03 per day, Umbrella inside IR35

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple deliverables within tight deadlines, working as part of a large programme team.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule with multiple stakeholders
  • Accountability for project delivery
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies and connectivity
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Risk and issue management capabilities
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management
  • Team player with experience working in large programmes
  • Experience navigating large and complex environments
  • Financial services experience is highly desirable
  • 20+ years of experience in relevant fields
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, legal, and financial advisors
  • Experience in developing and implementing separation plans for divested businesses
  • Experience managing transitions of employees, assets, and liabilities
  • Experience in CXO management and leadership across global, matrix organizations
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
