Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator for the building solutions division of a global plastics manufacturer with nearly 200 locations worldwide. The role is based in our office near Glasgow.

The Role:

Known internally as the Technical Sales Coordinator, your primary duties will include:

• Participating in internal and external pipe system tender submissions
• Providing technical support to customers in the UK & Republic of Ireland, including occasional on-site support during installation and operation
• Managing focused individual tasks within a wider project team from feasibility to installation and commissioning
• Collaborating with Sales Managers and external project stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working directly with customers and familiarity with CRM systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Experience creating bills of materials, quotations, or tender submissions
• Previous experience in the HVAC industry, such as pipework, district heating, or heat pumps, is preferred
• Practical experience with polymer or traditional copper/steel pipework is advantageous
• BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field (preferred but not essential)
• Completion of CIBSE courses on plumbing, underfloor heating, or heat networks design is a plus
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software for producing technical drawings
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive
