Job summary

AI Security Institute is hiring a Technical Programme Manager for the Model Transparency team. You will work with researchers and engineers to turn complex research questions into tractable programmes and ensure empirical rigor to inform policy.

Over the next twelve months, you will engage with frontier AI labs and government partners, managing dependencies and delivering impact while navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Programme architecture: refine project scope, milestones and success criteria with the team.
• Delivery tracking and unblocking: monitor progress, surface blockers, and escalate as needed.
• Cross-government technical engagement: engage with government partners and frontier AI labs.
• Team operations and pace: set rhythm for a small, high-performing government team.
