Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Lead to oversee the delivery of HPC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, particularly in high-performance computing (HPC) and related technologies. This role involves strategic management of project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery. The role can be based in Paris or London. Remote could also work as long as candidates are willing to travel frequently to Paris.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project management
    • Responsible for overseeing delivery of Mistral's HPC clusters up to production.
    • Strategically manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.
    • Key items of the project include: Deployment of hardware; negotiation with Data Center and infrastructure providers.
    • Oversee critical resource allocation and budget management.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align technical and operational goals.
  2. Stakeholder management
    • Communicate project progress and strategic direction to stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  3. Quality assurance
    • Ensure adherence to project standards and best practices.
    • Implement quality control measures to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications & Profile

  • Technical degree: computer science or general engineering.
  • Proven experience in large infrastructure project management, preferably in HPC or related fields.
  • Deep program management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
