Technical Program Manager - AFT Compliance

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team. To ensure our payment client's offering meets AFT compliance and other scheme enhancements, we need project/consultancy resources to support the rollout of an implementation and remediation plan, guaranteeing market-leading solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the rollout of AFT (Automated Fund Transfer) Remediation Implementation Plan, including the development of a detailed execution plan, weekly progress tracking, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Implement necessary AFT compliance changes with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), leveraging strategic relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Supervise the AFT mandate build and accreditation testing by PSPs, providing oversight and support while liaising directly with merchants where required to address integration or testing challenges.
  • Support the implementation of other scheme compliance projects as needed (e.g., Click to Pay), ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scheme standards, and internal stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to the identification and execution of scheme-related, income-generating opportunities, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Meeting facilitation steering conversations towards agreed actions and ownership.

Mandatory technical skills:

  • Deep knowledge of card acceptance ecosystem including acquiring and gateway
  • Experience leading and managing regulatory or scheme mandate compliance projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Good understanding of AFT (Automated Fund Transfer) compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of the Omnipay platform
  • Experience overseeing Tech Transformation and working with PSPs and/or merchants

Preferred skills:

  • Proficiency in communication and technical acumen.
  • Project planning and reporting, risk and dependency identification and management
  • Stakeholder management and mediation
