Job summary
Nova Biochem is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of its R&D and technical development programme. Working between the CEO and the technical team, you will convert strategic priorities into a structured, resourced plan and ensure technical questions are defined, data is reviewed, and next steps are clear.

Qualifications
- Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering or related field.
- Experience in R&D, process development or pilot-scale tech development.
- Strong technical judgement and data interpretation.
- Experience leading technical teams and coordinating multiple workstreams.
- Experience with high-temperature and/or high-pressure systems.
- Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
Responsibilities
- Translate priorities into clear R&D, process development and scale-up plans.
- Own and maintain the technical development plan with sequencing and resourcing.
- Coordinate across research, analytics, operations and engineering.
- Review experiments to ensure objectives and next steps are clear.
- Prepare concise updates for the CEO on progress and risks.
- Document important technical decisions and results.
