Job description

Rochdale Development Agency’s (RDA) Culture and Placemaking Team is seeking to recruit a Technical Production Officer to help us deliver our ambitious plans for culture, creativity, and regeneration.

This is a great time to join the team. The Technical Production Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the technical delivery of various strategic Festivals and Events, including Rochdale’s Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2025-26.

You will also work closely with the Film Office Manager to support the smooth operation of Rochdale’s new Film Office.

The ideal candidate will have a significant technical background, project management and logistics experience in the festival sector, a strong understanding of sector challenges, and excellent contacts.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, organized, creative, a motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter capable of managing a varied workload with multiple work streams. You should be a collaborator, committed to building effective relationships with stakeholders in the festival and film sectors.
