Job Title - Technical Production Manager
Salary - £40,000 - £45,000
Location - South London
Reporting to - Head of Production
Perm/Contract - Permanent (Hybrid)
Role Summary:
Based in London, delivering across the UK, you’ll play a key part in delivering events that look great and do good.
As our Technical Production Manager, you’ll work closely with our creative teams and directly with clients, from pitch through to delivery. You’ll be responsible for technical planning, budgeting, and documentation. And you’ll lead the charge on-site, making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced job with plenty of variety. It includes regular travel, and just like you’ve come to expect in the wild world of events production, will often require you to work outside standard office hours.
Responsibilities:
As a crucial part of the delivery team both on and off site. A cover all bases type of hire where you will have direct insight into all ongoing production work from the get-go.
You’ll oversee the technical planning of projects, working with Project Managers to keep designs in line with budget and build processes. Studying technical drawings and providing a critical eye, you’re the one asking the right questions, spotting mistakes, and making sure the build plans accurately reflect the project deliverables.
You’ll be working with audio and video equipment, recommending on best product use and technical delivery to meet the brief, supporting the team in upskilling and training on AV equipment and operating equipment for live events and exhibitions as required.
You’ll take charge, preparing, booking, and communicating schedules, call sheets, event requirements, execution plans and individual responsibilities to team members, vendors, and venue partners.
