Overview

MCS Group are delighted to be supporting a leading global organisation who are growing their technology team in Belfast. They're looking for a Technical Product Owner to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring products are delivered effectively and aligned to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, refine and manage the product backlog in partnership with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Guide and support the development team throughout the delivery cycle.
• Ensure value is prioritised and delivered through each release.
• Gather and act on feedback to improve features and user experience.
• Collaborate closely with business, technology and compliance teams.

What you need

• 4-5 years+ proven experience as a Product Owner/ Product Manager
• Strong understanding of Agile ways of working and software delivery.
• Skilled in managing stakeholders and communicating across teams.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver in fast-paced environments.

Desirable Experience

• Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of data, compliance, or technology-led change projects.
