Job Description
The newly formed Solution Validation Growth (SVG) team within Consumer payments is looking for an individual with a technical bent of mind and interest in product ownership to help us continue to grow and launch new features and services. This role reports to Validation vertical within SVG.
The Technical Product Manager requires hands-on experience which includes the following responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree in the job offered or in a related product manager, systems analyst, or software engineer occupation. Experience with product management software tools such as Rally and Jira Align. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle in an e-commerce or web environment. Technical implementations of medium-large scale, highly available, robust web or mobile applications. Experienced in technology design of new solutions. Technical experience in managing products built using Java technologies, API (SOAP & REST), Web & Mobile Development. Hands-on experience in developing roadmaps, writing user stories, grooming product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Proficiency working in an agile environment. Experience working in the Payments space.
Skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Must be proficient in writing code and building POCs, ideally using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js. Must have experience in scripting for API testing tools such as Postman or similar. Must have experience building front-end and back-end applications. Expert in web service standards and related patterns (REST, gRPC). Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to respond resourcefully to new demands, priorities, and challenges. Experience in Identity solutions like oAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, security tokens (JWS, JWE, access token, id token) or other IAM. Must have Cryptographic knowledge & Key Management. Basic understanding of B2B API integration. Customer-facing (communicative) skills. Analytical mind - curious mindset with an interest in solving problems alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills, driving insight from data analysis. Ability to shift priorities and demonstrate proactive willingness to help others. Understanding of how decisions may affect other teams and contribute to overall objectives.
