About the Role

We are hiring a Technical Product Engineer (also suited to Product Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Prompt Engineer backgrounds) to design, automate, and optimise the systems that power our global manufacturing network.

This is a hands-on, impact-driven role where you will:

  • Build and automate workflows that streamline operations, from quoting to delivery.
  • Work with AI and prompt engineering techniques to enhance internal tools and supplier performance systems.
  • Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions using a mix of no-code, low-code, and custom-built products.
  • You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate with Product, Data, Quality, and Operations teams across the UK, India, and China.
What You’ll Do
  • Own and deliver supply chain optimisation tools and automation strategies.
  • Identify inefficiencies in order flow, procurement, quality control, and fulfilment, then convert them into scalable workflows.
  • Design, test, and deploy automation using Zapier, Make, Airtable, SQL, APIs, and AI-driven tools.
  • Develop and refine AI prompt frameworks for internal tools, supplier scoring, and operational forecasting.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate AI and analytics into decision-making tools.
  • Translate business goals into product specifications, prioritised backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead experiments in automation across supplier onboarding, RFQ processing, and VQC (Virtual Quality Control).
  • Track and improve KPIs including On-Time Delivery, NCR Rate, and throughput.
  • Ensure adoption of new tools and processes, delivering measurable ROI.
What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • 4+ years in a product, automation, or technical engineering role in a tech-enabled business.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing workflows.
  • Proven track record of building internal tools or automating operational processes.
  • Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools (Zapier, Make, Airtable, Retool, etc.).
  • Comfortable working with developers, data scientists, and AI tools to ship product outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with KPI-driven prioritisation skills.

Preferred:

  • SQL, API integration skills, or experience with workflow automation.
  • Experience in marketplaces, B2B SaaS, or manufacturing platforms.
  • Exposure to prompt engineering and AI tool integration.
