We are Succession Wealth, a leading independent financial planning and wealth management business in the UK, part of the Aviva Group. Established in 2009, we have over 900 employees and 200 Wealth Planners serving clients across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Planner Trainer to join our Financial Planner Training Team, supporting our Financial Planners with technical expertise.

The role…

The Planner Training Technical Lead will be a technical specialist in financial planning, leading stakeholders to create and embed guidance on core planning scenarios such as estate planning, accumulation, and decumulation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing house views and guidance on core planning scenarios
  • Creating technical scenarios for specialized offerings like VCTs, EIS, Offshore Bonds
  • Building a technical competency framework for planners and paraplanners
  • Managing technical training needs, including induction and ongoing upskilling, utilizing third-party providers

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Financial Planning Qualification
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services and Financial Advisory roles
  • Strong facilitation skills and strategic planning ability
