A leading decorative paint and wall covering manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paint Manufacturing Manager to join their team in Manchester.

Salary: Circa £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (relocation package possible)

This is a demanding role requiring experience in the production and manufacturing of paint and wallpaper. As Paint Manufacturing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Launching new and innovative products into the decorative market (product development)
  2. Proven problem-solving skills covering technical, process, and manufacturing issues
  3. Understanding of Point of Sale tinting, including machine, software, and colourant issues
  4. Health and Safety knowledge, preferably with a qualification such as NEBOSH
  5. Knowledge of legislation affecting the decorative market
  6. Formulating techniques, including solvent-based and water-based technologies
  7. Strong leadership and management skills
