Technical Operator - Temporary

Location: Worksop, GB

Contract: Temporary, Full Time

Salary: £36,488 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3-week rotating shift pattern (40 hours per week)

Note: This role will be an ongoing temporary contract.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Technical Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our food manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety at every stage. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ingredient Preparation & Batching: Precisely measuring and preparing ingredients to follow recipes accurately.
  • Operating Production Machinery: Setting up, running, and monitoring machinery used for mixing, cooking, and filling products into packaging.
  • Quality Assurance: Conducting quality checks throughout production to meet high standards.
  • Maintenance Support: Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment, working closely with Engineering.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining hygiene standards and adhering to GMP to ensure a safe environment.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking dedicated individuals who can:

  • Work independently or as part of a team (Adaptability & Teamwork)
  • Be flexible across departments as needed
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Have technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments
  • Health & Safety or Food Safety qualifications
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
