Trainee Technical Operators

About The Role

Competitive Salary: Earn up to £32,169 - £34,008 with growth potential.

Shifts: various shift patterns, including 12-hour shifts on a rotating day and night schedule.

  • 2 Set Pattern: Runs 4 x 12-hour shifts back-to-back – either Mon – Thurs or Tue – Fri.
  • 4 Set (Continental) Pattern: 12-hour shifts rotating between 4 days and 3 days each week. Every other weekend.

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum of 2 years in a technical/mechanical role
  • Clear understanding of performance targets
  • Familiarity with day-to-day activities (housekeeping, H&S, recycling, energy efficiency)
  • Good manual dexterity skills
  • Proactive in solving technical/process issues
Desirable Criteria
  • Technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering
  • Familiarity with plastics processing and extrusion experience
  • Experience in TPM, preferably in a continuous processing environment
  • Shift work experience (including nights and weekends)
