We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Your day-to-day

  • Manage support requests - you'll oversee technical support and the fulfilment of incoming support requests from training ground colleagues
  • Provide team leadership - you'll lead the onsite Technical Support team, ensuring they have a good understanding and adhere to documented ITIL Incident, problem and change management processes
  • Organise desktop support services - you'll organise support services of Apple, Windows and Android devices, providing maintenance and issue resolution, and improving standard and non-standard end user technology solutions
  • Offer training ground support - you'll provide maintenance and support of all training ground technology hardware, software and connectivity including our network LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi configuration and first to second line support for back-end infrastructure
  • Carry out network support - you'll provide network support of Wi-Fi and Cisco networks to troubleshoot, maintain and problem solve issues in conjunction with third line support
  • Deliver activity reporting - you'll produce weekly and monthly reports on support activity and support requests for operational technology management
  • Be a key point of contact - you'll act as business relationship point of contact and escalation for our training ground sites

What We Are Looking For

  • Service desk experience - you have previous experience working in a technology support or service desk environment supporting a large user base
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems - you come with expertise in Microsoft, Apple and Android based operating systems
  • Lead by example - you'll be able to lead a team, managing workload and providing necessary support
  • Self starter - you'll be able to proactively initiate and drive through service improvements and small projects
  • Quality driven - you're focused on quality at all times for you and your team and determined to provide an optimal service

Please note: as a support role, the working pattern for this position will align with the football calendar and will need availability on weekends, bank holidays and evenings. It will also require travel to our stadium and our training facilities.
