Job summary

Google’s Global Security and Resiliency Services (GSRS) seeks a Global Security Systems and Technology Program Manager to lead development and sustainment efforts for security applications that protect Googlers and enable resilient operations.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage vendor partners, scope and drive data‑driven projects, and communicate security insights to technical and non‑technical audiences while safeguarding critical assets and enterprise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage regionally based vendor operations for Technical Operations, Credential Management Operations and Physical Access Operations, covering credential production and distribution, project management to integrate new physical security assets into Google’s enterprise security applications, manage asset life-cycle, and 24/7 customer and technical support.
  • Build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure and validate that the vendor team is maintaining quality customer support, promptly addressing concerns through process updates or technology solutions.
  • Scope, plan and manage data-driven projects in collaboration with GSRS stakeholders.
  • Conduct system audits and communicate findings/recommendations to various set of stakeholders, leveraging data to tell a clear and compelling story.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience developing technical strategy and managing security in areas including Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Management, PSIM, IT Networking, or Construction/Architecture.
  • 7 years of experience deploying, administering, and supporting physical security technologies.
  • Experience interacting in technical conversations in the physical security domain with system administrators, field technicians, and system designers.
  • Experience in vendor or contract management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively evaluate work problems and program goals to efficiently prioritize projects and tasks in support of the broader strategic objectives.
  • Ability to communicate across teams and organizational levels.
  • Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and subsequent monitoring, through informal authority.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and project-management skills, with experience developing project plans to deliver customer-oriented results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey technical insights to a non-technical audience.

As a member of GSRS, you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop efficient and effective programs that drive sustainable efficacy.

As a Global Security Systems and Technology Program Manager for GSRS, you will be a part of the team responsible for the development and sustainment efforts for a variety of applications that keep Googler’s safe and secure. As Google is a data driven company, Physical Security uses our own internal data to drive business decisions and affect change. You will have experience in physical security technology, managing vendor partners and critical operations to join the GSRS Global Security Systems team.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Ireland: €122000 - €125000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
