Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Security Service Center (SSC) Program Manager for the EMEA region to lead the development and improvement of the Security Service Center ecosystem, a globally distributed network of hubs operated by vendor partners to manage detection, triage and response to physical security threats.

You will coordinate cross-functional projects, maintain SSC operations and ensure scalable security services across regions, reporting to GSOC/GSRS leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience implementing security resilience programs impacting teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary program management in an organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate complex and highly cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to optimize and scale our ability to detect, assess, and mitigate risk while ensuring alignment with broader security efforts.
  • Lead the GSOC Global Security Service Centre (SSC) Program.
  • Maintain the network of distributed SSC’s in support of GSRS operations.
  • Document, analyze and regularly review SSC operations to enhance the delivery of operations.
  • Collaborate with security operations teams in the strategy and design of security service centers, with daily activities delegated and managed by the local campus or cluster security manager.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

The Global Security Operations Center is GSRS’s 24/7 ecosystem for intake, triage, management and escalation of physical security incidents and threats.

As a Security Service Center (SSC) Program Manager, you will lead the development and improvement of the Security Service Center ecosystem, a globally distributed network of more than twenty hubs operated by vendor partners managing the detection, triage and response to physical security threats to Google people and assets. This role works to ensure that the program scales effectively to enable the GSOC to deliver its mission.
