Southern Microbiological Services - A Tentamus Company is seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead our UKAS-accredited laboratory operations in food and cosmetics. You will be a technical authority on-site, ensuring testing methodologies and quality control align with ISO 17025 standards and safety legislation.

You will manage and mentor a team of analysts, drive technical projects, and act as primary contact for client enquiries, audits, and KPI reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Oversee ISO 17025-aligned QMS and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead technicians and microbiologists, providing training and mentorship.
• Supervise microbiological and cosmetic testing operations for accuracy and turnaround.
• Lead readiness for audits and manage responses to third-party and regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with Quality Team to maintain high standards and report KPIs.
• Demonstrate track record in laboratory management or senior technical role in food/cosmetics.
