We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Technical Officer, on a 2.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £17.86 - £23.37 per hour

Summary:

To support the Cleaning Management Team by organising and coordinating resources for efficient service operations, managing IT systems, and using data analysis to drive performance improvement. The role also includes schedule optimisation, handling service complaints, and introducing automation in workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist management with planning and delivery of cost-effective and efficient services.
  • Analyse operational data to inform and recommend service improvements.
  • Develop and maintain crew schedules and work systems to meet operational needs.
  • Manage IT systems and automate performance, training, and finance workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Respond to service complaints and enquiries, often linked to reports from supervisory staff.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Excel.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Sound understanding of cleansing and waste management practices.
  • Experience managing schedules, coordinating resources, and working with IT systems.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with contractors, staff, and members of the public.
  • Ability to resolve operational issues and suggest process improvements.

Availability:

  • Available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to work in the UK.
