Marketing Manager Role

As a Marketing Manager, your primary focus will be on brand management. Your initial responsibilities include evaluating current marketing efforts and devising and executing strategies to support brand positioning and messaging. This is a standalone role, requiring a highly experienced, hands-on professional, as there are no plans to recruit additional junior team members.

You will lead and coordinate global marketing activities across the UK, US, and other key regions, maintaining the brand image and identity across all external communications. Responsibilities also include managing marketing assets and content planning for all digital platforms such as websites, flyers, and social media.

Event management will be a significant part of your role, including coordinating conferences, webinars, and related promotions across the UK, US, Europe, and Asia. You will also coordinate internal communications with stakeholders to develop communication plans. Additionally, you will oversee website maintenance, social media management, and budget oversight.

Qualifications and Experience

We seek a marketer with experience in the engineering or a similarly technical industry, who has served as a lead marketer and possesses budget management skills. The candidate should be proactive in implementing their own strategies.

Travel within the UK and internationally is expected, and flexibility for planned travel is essential. Strong copywriting and editing skills, event management experience, and experience working with global brands are highly desirable.

The position offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office. Flexible start and finish times are available. The company closes at lunchtime on Fridays. The salary is up to £60,000, along with various benefits.
