Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Technical Manager to lead third-party technology suppliers and MSPs, delivering infrastructure and project services in a hybrid London or Birmingham setup. The role requires governance discipline and strong delivery focus.

You will translate high-level roadmaps into practical work packages for outsourced partners, ensure security standards are met, and review supplier changes within a CAB framework to protect continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience with MSPs or outsourced technology providers, reviewing technical solutions and changes, and working in a structured change/governance environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers follow infrastructure policies, security standards and architectural principles globally.
• Act as a technical reviewer within the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for supplier changes and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify improvements and opportunities aligning with technology objectives.
• Provide input into infrastructure roadmap to support business goals.
• Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues and delivery risks.

My client is a global organisation looking for an experienced Technical Manager to manage third-party technology suppliers and MSPs delivering infrastructure and project services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and build strong working relationships with third-party suppliers and MSPs.
• Review and validate supplier infrastructure and cloud submissions before they are approved for production.
• Translate high-level technology and architecture roadmaps into clear, practical work packages for outsourced partners to deliver.
• Ensure suppliers follow company infrastructure policies, security standards and architectural principles across global environments.
• Act as a technical reviewer within the Change Advisory Board (CAB), reviewing supplier changes, assessing risk and ensuring business continuity is protected.
• Work closely with suppliers to identify improvements and opportunities that support the organisation’s key technology objectives.
• Provide technical input into the development of the infrastructure roadmap, ensuring it supports wider business goals.
• Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues and delivery risks.
