Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Technical Manager / Technologist to champion product quality, freshness and technical standards across fresh produce ranges. You will work with Technical Product, Procurement, Source teams and site operations to ensure compliance from intake to customer.

You will lead quality checks, train intake and packhouse teams, maintain specifications, and use data to drive improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in fresh produce, food quality, technical or product management, or a relevant scientific or technical qualification.
• A good understanding of food safety, legality, compliance and quality across the supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills, sound decision-making and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence communicating with different teams and building strong supplier relationships.
• Experience managing people, developing teams and delivering results.

Working closely with the Technical Product team, Procurement, Source teams, and site operations, you'll help ensure our products meet the highest standards from intake to the customer.
