Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a passionate Technologist/Technical Manager to champion product quality, freshness and technical standards across fresh produce ranges. You will work closely with Technical Product, Procurement, Source teams and site operations to ensure products meet the highest standards from intake to customer.

You will lead training, oversee freshness checks, support shelf-life studies, and maintain site guidelines while building strong supplier relationships and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in fresh produce, food quality, technical or product management.
• Good understanding of food safety, legality, compliance and quality across the supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills and practical, solutions-focused approach.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in fresh produce, food quality, technical or product management, or a relevant scientific or technical qualification.
• A good understanding of food safety, legality, compliance and quality across the supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills, sound decision-making and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence communicating with different teams and building strong supplier relationships.
• Experience managing people, developing teams and delivering results.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and a genuine passion for getting things right.
