Technical Manager - Packaging

Commutable from York, Pickering, Malton, Thirsk, Driffield, Scarborough, Pocklington and surrounding areas

Are you a Quality Manager or Technical Manager from a Packaging or Food background looking for a leadership role within a well-established business offering further training and development as well the chance to mould your own tight knit team?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, established company where you will take ownership of key technical and quality processes, develop your expertise through further training and play an important role in maintaining industry-leading standards.

The company have been established for over 30 years and have built a strong reputation within the packaging industry. They are now looking for an experienced technical professional to join their team and become a key part of the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier approvals, technical specifications, customer complaints and quality procedures, alongside supporting BRCGS accreditation and compliance. You will work closely with a small, experienced team, with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on technical standards and continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone from a Packaging or Manufacturing background looking for a stable, long-term position with technical responsibility, further development and a supportive working environment.

The Role:

• Manage the technical and quality function across the site
• Support BRCGS accreditation, audits, compliance and continuous improvement activities
• Monday to Friday | 8:45am - 5:15pm

The Candidate:

• Experience within a Quality, Technical or Compliance role in packaging or a similar manufacturing environment
• Full UK driving licence and looking for a long-term, site-based role in Malton
