Job Description:

My client is a leading global manufacturer of high-performance industrial lubricants, greases, and maintenance solutions. Serving industries like aerospace, manufacturing, and food production, they are renowned for innovative, high-quality, and compliant products. With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and sustainability, they deliver trusted solutions worldwide.

This is a senior role requiring a strategic mindset and the ability to lead and support a team of Application Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert technical assistance to clients and internal divisions.
  • Collaborate with R&D on product development.
  • Support Sales and Servicing teams in delivering top-level service.
  • Conduct application testing and customer trials.
  • Travel occasionally to client sites (national and international).
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Tribology, or related field.
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial fluids, tribology, or lubricants.
  • Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to provide expert-level technical knowledge.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (DOE).
  • Bonus Scheme
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension, laptop, and mobile.
  • Hybrid working: 1 day a week after probation.
  • Hours: 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with early Friday finish.
