Technical Geotechnical Manager | Leeds | £45,000

An exciting new opportunity for a Technical Geotechnical Manager has opened. If you are looking for an exciting role in Leeds where you can help develop a team, we want to hear from you!

You will have the chance to work for a large specialist geotechnical and environmental contractor on a large range of projects.

As the Technical Geotechnical Manager your day-to-day role will involve leading a regional team of engineers and overseeing the technical delivery of geotechnical and geoenvironmental aspects across a range of remediation and infrastructure projects. You will be reviewing project updates, coordinating with Resident Engineers, and responding to any immediate technical queries from site teams.

Your time will be split between mentoring staff, liaising with clients and regulators, and ensuring that validation works stay on track in terms of cost and programme. You'll regularly attend site meetings, provide high-level technical advice, review reports, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop pragmatic and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Essential criteria:

* Must live within a commutable distance from Leeds office

* Full UK driving licence

* Chartered geologist (desirable)

* Must have at least 5 years working in the industry

* Must hold a geology degree
