Job summary

Bellway plc invites applications for a Technical Manager to support the Technical Director and the wider business across construction, land buy, planning, sales and post-construction. You will lead the Technical team, ensuring day-to-day activities are delivered accurately and on time.

Based in the Thames Valley Division, the role includes overseeing design teams, coordinating drawing production, and ensuring NHBC approvals and Building Control compliance while maintaining strong stakeholder

Qualifications

Experience of working as a Technical Manager / Senior position within a technical function for a volume housebuilder.
Track record of effectively managing a high performing team.

Responsibilities

Support the Technical Director in managerial issues and provide relevant reporting.
Oversee production of working drawings and detail information to be complete, coherent and on time.
Provide technical support during land buying, planning, sales, construction and post-construction.
Coordinate Design Team Meetings early in development with consultants.
Ensure NHBC approval is obtained and Building Control fees paid promptly.
