Job summary

Michael Page seeks a Technical Manager to lead the site's technical and quality agenda within a large FMCG manufacturing facility in the UK. You will ensure world-class food safety, quality and compliance while driving continuous improvement and an expert quality function.

You will lead HACCP, BRC standards, customer relationships and audits, and collaborate with production and development teams to meet regulatory and retailer requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical/quality teams in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC standards, and retailer requirements.
• Experience managing customer and third-party audits.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food safety management system and HACCP programme across the site.
• Act as primary audit contact for customers, retailers and third parties.
• Oversee QA and validation teams; set objectives and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and site systems development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with production, NPD and process teams.
• Promote a proactive food safety culture across the operation.
