Job summary

Mach Recruitment Ltd. seeks an experienced Technical Manager to oversee all technical functions and customer relationships on a busy chilled food site. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure BRC/HACCP compliance, and drive efficiencies across the operation.

The role requires leadership, a food science background, and experience in high-risk/chilled products, with a strong track record in managing change and coaching teams to achieve results. Excellent benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food manufacturing in a technical management role.
• Experience with High Risk/Chilled foods and short shelf-life handling.
• Experience of BRC accreditation, HACCP implementation and customer audits.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement, Lean processes and efficiencies.
• Proven leadership capable of driving change from within.

Job description

You will oversee and manage all technical and customer relationships within a busy chilled food manufacturing site.

Skills and experience;

• Working in a fast paced food manufacturing environment within a technical management role
• High Risk/ Care - short shelf life experience
• Experience of BRC accreditation, HACCP implementation, customer audits and QSM (Quality System Management)
• Focused on continuous improvement, efficiencies and LEAN processes, results driven
• Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate and drive change from within- must be able to demonstrate how you have achieved this previously
• Degree in food science or equivalent, Food Hygiene Level 4, HACCP Level 4 and IOSH understanding
