Technical Manager - Building Services (MEP)
Belgravia, London | £65,000 - £80,000 + Benefits

We're seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the design and technical delivery of major MEP projects in one of London's most prestigious locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing technical team, working on complex projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, MOD, and leisure. You'll play a key role in the pre-construction phase, ensuring that engineering design is coordinated, risk-managed, and commercially aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and de-risk project design in the pre-construction phase
  2. Ensure design compliance with all relevant standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  3. Oversee consultant design deliverables and ensure alignment with commercial, procurement and programme needs
  4. Drive value engineering and ensure integration of design changes
  5. Work closely with clients, consultants, digital engineers, and project delivery teams

About You
  1. Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (BEng/MEng/MSc)
  2. Professionally registered (or working towards) with CIBSE, IET, IMechE or similar
  3. 5+ years' experience in design-focused engineering roles, ideally on projects valued between £5M-£50M MEP
  4. Excellent communicator with a passion for technical delivery and collaborative problem solving
