We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager in the United Kingdom.

Reporting to the Technical Repair Performance Director, the Technical Manager is responsible for ensuring that Repair Solutions contractors execute high-value and complex repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role involves providing comprehensive support to contractors to facilitate their performance.

The role offers technical expertise to the network and Sedgwick colleagues, necessitating substantial experience and qualifications in construction and/or claims management, with a preference for those with a background in the insurance repair sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll manage high-value and complex repairs with skills in construction or claims management.
  • You'll work closely with various departments, providing technical expertise and support.

  • Collaborate with contractors to meet revenue targets for complex repairs and ensure their performance and compliance.
  • Manage contractor capacity and forecasting and conduct quality audits to maintain standards.
  • Oversee contractor compliance with health and safety regulations and handle complaints on complex repair cases.
  • Train and develop contractors, including identifying and inducting new contractors.
  • Promote Sedgwick Repair Solutions internally and ensure all principal contractor obligations are met.
The skills you will have when you apply:
  • Driving Licence:Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Construction Knowledge:In-depth understanding of construction.
  • Relevant Qualifications:Degree plus CIOB, RICS, CII, or working towards these.
  • Professionalism:Handle issues and colleagues professionally.
  • Teamwork:Strong teamwork skills.
