CCS in the United Kingdom is seeking a seasoned Site Manager to oversee all site managers, trades and sub-contractors for the Retrofit department. You will ensure safe, first-time-right installations and plan with the AM and Admin team to sequence activities efficiently.

The role requires an electrical background with 18th Edition and NVQ Level 2, strong leadership, and a track record in fabric installation.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications: 18th Edition and NVQ Level 2.
• NVQ Level 2 Craft Trade with CSCS Skilled Worker Card (desirable)
• Experience of fabric installation and build environment (desirable)
• Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical trades and sub-contractors on site.
• Assist and input to planning of works with AM and Admin team ensuring measures are properly planned and in sequence.
• Provide technical assistance to planning teams.
• Quality check and confirm material lists are compliant and accurate prior to installation.
• Oversee quality control check process and ensure it is implemented on all installations and works on site.
• Uphold H&S standards and manage CDM requirements across the delivery team.
• Daily communication with trades and sub-contractors to ensure adherence to CCS processes and reporting.
• Complete audits of staff and trades to support compliance targets and uphold competence.
• Manage and control defects in support of the admin team weekly.
• Coach, upskill and train site management staff and installation teams.
• Improve and develop customer service processes and satisfaction across CCS works.
• Report weekly on activities, programmes, completions and issues to Project Manager and clients.
• Support recruitment of resources to meet delivery programmes and participate in interviews.
• Manage new sub-contractors and inductions on site to ensure proper operating protocols.

Job Purpose:

To oversee all site managers, employed trades and sub-contractors on site, for CCS Retrofit department, control checks to be carried out in line with PAS2030&2035 and Electrical Standards. Oversee auditing, quality control inspections in keeping with CCS policy/installation standards. Providing technical support to the project and planning team on plant, material & access requirements to ensure safe, first-time right installations. This role requires a strong site management background with relevant qualifications and an electrical bias would be a large advantage. Reporting directly to Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee all technical trades and sub-contractors on site
• To assist and input to planning of works with AM and Admin team ensuring measures are properly planned and in sequence.
• To provide technical assistance to planning teams
• To quality check and confirm material lists are compliant and accurate prior to installation.
• To oversee quality control check process and this is implemented on all installations and works on site
• To always uphold H&S standards and manage CDM requirements across the delivery team.
• To communicate daily with trades and sub-contractors to ensure they follow all CCS Processes and operating protocols, update jobs and report.
• To Complete audits of staff and trades on site to support general compliance team targets and ensure continued high levels of competence within our delivery
• To manage and control defects in support of the admin team weekly.
• To work with the Project managers to coach, upskill and train site management staff and installation teams.
• Manage, improve, and develop customer service process, customer satisfaction results across ALL works within CCS.
• Report weekly on all activities, programmes, completions and issues to the Project Manager and clients with updated programmes weekly
• Manage & enforce regular training and refresher of all staff that report to you to ensure continuous improvement of all operations in your department.
• To support and aid recruitment of resources to meet delivery programmes and attend all interviews.
• Manage new sub-contractors and staff inductions on site fully and correctly to ensure operating protocol is abided to from day 1 and poor staff assessed early on and identified.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Electrically Qualified with minimum 18th Edition and NVQ Level 2
• NVQ L2 Craft Trade (Any) with CSCS Skilled Worker Card (desirable)
• Experience of Fabric installation and build environment (desirable)
• Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
• Exceptional customer service skills
