The role includes managing planning information preparation, ensuring consultant coordination, and providing technical support. Candidates must have housebuilding experience and a strong understanding of the planning process. Proficiency in CAD is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housebuilding, preferably within a quality-led SME.
• Strong understanding of the planning process.
• Thorough understanding of technical detailing, including Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of information for planning condition clearance.
• Ensure co-ordination between all consultants during construction.
• Secure Building Regulations and statutory approvals.
• Prepare working drawings and supporting information.
• Provide technical support for production sites.

Our client is a highly regarded and award winning house builder who, with an excellent land bank and project pipeline, are looking to add an experienced Technical Manager to what is already a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in managing the preparation of information required for clearance of all planning conditions.
• Ensure thorough co-ordination between all consultants to prevent any adopting, conflicting or maintenance issues during construction of the development.
• Secure Building Regulations/Statutory approvals
• Prepare Working Drawings and Collate all supporting information
• Provide technical support for Production sites

About you

• Housebuilding experience is essential - preferably within a quality led SME environment.
• Strong Understanding of the planning process and requirements.
• Thorough understanding of technical detailing including Building Regulations and emerging requirements are essential.
• Both Architectural and Engineering backgrounds will be considered
• CAD proficient
