Overview

This is a passionate and results-driven Technical Manager's opportunity to make a real impact - managing site compliance and working along site the Managing Director, enhancing product quality, and leading continuous improvement in a high-energy, people-first environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Quality, Food Safety & Compliance - Ensuring both sites meet internal and external standards including BRC, customer codes of practice, and HACCP.
  • Technical Strategy & Leadership - Developing and deploying the technical strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Customer & Audit Interface - Hosting and managing site audits (customer, third-party, regulatory) with confidence and credibility.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement - Driving KPIs across quality, safety, and process compliance. Using data to unlock improvements.
  • Team Development - Leading, inspiring, and developing technical and QA teams across both sites to ensure high engagement and performance.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Working cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, NPD, and Commercial to deliver right-first-time product excellence.
The Candidate
  • Strong technical/QA experience in food manufacturing (chilled/fresh/high risk preferable).
  • Solid knowledge of BRC, HACCP, food safety, and customer standards.
  • Proven success managing audits and external stakeholders.
  • A confident leadership style with experience managing or influencing teams across multiple sites.
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Exceptional communication and organisation skills.
  • A relevant technical degree or equivalent experience.
