Following a complete restructure across the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this leading food manufacturing company is seeking a proven and experienced Technical Manager to achieve two key objectives:

• Develop and strengthen the existing technical team, which includes both new and longstanding members.
• Drive the business deeper into the world of retailer own-label products.

This is an exciting and crucial time for the business as they embark on the next phase of their growth, and they see this role as the final piece of the puzzle to reach their goals.

Reporting to the Site Director, you will work closely with them to drive site quality and compliance, while also collaborating with the commercial teams to plan the onboarding of new customers. The role offers considerable autonomy, giving you the freedom to implement the strategies you believe will be most effective.

To be considered, you'll need a solid background as a Technical Manager and be able to provide specific examples of how you’ve successfully secured and integrated retailer business into food manufacturing sites in your previous roles. The ideal candidate will also have a degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology, advanced Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications, and experience with HACCP.
