We’re working with a respected and growing housebuilder to recruit an experienced Technical Manager. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Head of Technical, with responsibility for managing multiple projects from land appraisal and planning through to completion.

You’ll lead the design process across speculative housing, joint ventures, and contracting schemes – ensuring technical delivery aligns with programme, budget, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee design from pre-acquisition through to handover
  • Manage consultant appointments, scopes, and design programmes
  • Lead design team meetings and ensure coordination across departments
  • Maintain compliance with planning, NHBC, Building Regs, CDM, and BSA
  • Contribute to tenders with technical input and Contractor’s Proposals
  • Monitor DEVEX spend, progress reports, and technical approvals
  • Support and develop junior technical staff
