The role
Optimise manufacturing functions for enhanced efficiency.
Improve quality and yield performance.
Foster a high-performance workforce and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Champion cost reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
Drive the Food Safety and Quality Culture plan across the site.
Oversee the Quality Management system to ensure product excellence.
Manage HACCP processes and maintain standards.
Conduct audits of third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop continuous improvement projects.
Serve as the primary contact for customer interactions and visits.
Develop and lead internal audit systems to ensure quality and traceability.
Coach and develop team members to promote growth and excellence.
Monitor departmental performance and drive cost reductions.
Person Specification:
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/Technical roles within Fresh Produce.
Relevant qualifications including HACCP Level 3 and Internal Auditor.
Proficient in computer literacy and communication skills.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Demonstrated behaviour aligned with company values and objectives.
